New cards:

This weekend I was a busy badger in the studio creating these new cards.

Designs include; neon hearts in flouro pink, flouro orange, cobalt blue and metallic gold, typewriter text and some of my lampshade illustrations. They have that gorgeous tactile quality that only screen printing can produce and are the perfect excuse to remind someone you love them.

They will be available in my new SHOP launching later today…

I saw this and thought of you…

If, like me, you or your walls need an injection of joy then how about this for a nifty idea. Perfect if you have some pretty handkerchiefs/ scarfs/ bits of material lying around, I think the addition of some doilies would be most welcome too.

Home:

Today I have been designing some new prints and bits and bobs with love in mind. I am using those particular words as they are a marvellous reminder of a simple reassuring fact that, for me, is at the core of love.

Hope you all have wonderous weekends, I’m off to London town to see friends, family and dance with glitter on my face.

Mail Art joys

Before Christmas I received some wonderful mail art from Jeannine (Saylor made) Including some beautiful artwork, a thoughtful note, some personalised homemade stickers, a handmade bookmark, a card and, as usual,l some pretty buttons.

I also got a wonderful package from Sumi Sethi including some of her gorgeous hand printed fabric, a handmade badge, some lovely green fabric that I used to decorate my marmalade jars, a deer badge (My fave Sumi illustration), some stamps (top picture) and her beautiful ‘Ship Shape’ design printed onto fabric (I think I will make something special with this).

And yesterday a little envelope popped through the letterbox from Jessica Gowling, a beautiful treasury of butterflies and moths including some pages from an old book, a postcard and some pretty stickers.

Thank You So much mail Arters! I am looking forward to sending out some worthy replies in 2012! x x
