Knitting/ pudding club was at mine this week, I decided on a chocolate amaretti cake. I love amaretti biscuits, especially when they are beautifully wrapped.
So knitting club has (inevitably?) transformed into pudding club: we discuss the week’s dilemas, eat a sugar based foodstuff and then, if there’s time, do a bit of knitting (we are a massive cliche, I know) This week we had an AMAZING chocolate fondant pudding courtesy of Emily.
I am still battling with the owl cushion but to satisfy my need for a quick pay-off I have made a pair of chunky leg warmers as well:
Sunday’s are all about culinary decadence, the sort of cooking that requires spending £7+ on ingredients, putting an apron on, trying a new recipe, dancing around the kitchen to the radio and most of all the satisfying moment when you put your creation on the cooling rack and bask in your domestic glory.
